Primary Training

Sport Pilot
Can't hold an FAA medical or don't want to get one? Want to get into the air with fewer requirements? Sport pilot training is a great start.
Private Pilot
Private Pilots cover the same aerodynamics and flight fundamentals as Sport Pilots but have a higher training threshold. This allows you more privileges, such as flying more passengers, operating a wider variety of aircraft, and flying into instrument conditions.
Instrument Training
With the exception of the initial flight instructor rating, I do not think any other rating expands your knowledge, skill, or situational awareness like IFR. With increased situational awareness and more precise skill, this rating is helpful even if you only plan to fly under Visual Flight Rules. I spend my day job in the IFR system and am excited to share my experience and expertise with you.
